Vehicle Theft

Good afternoon,

Between 19:00 and 21:00hrs on Friday 23 January 2026, a white Ford Transit van was stolen from Atherstone Road, Appleby Magna.

Police enquiries are ongoing, and residents are asked to remain vigilant. To help prevent vehicle crime, please consider the following:

Always lock vehicles and activate any immobilisers

Use additional security such as steering wheel locks or alarms

Park vehicles in well‑lit areas or off the road where possible

Ensure tools and valuables are removed from vehicles or kept out of sight

If you saw anything suspicious in the area at the time, or have relevant CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage, please contact police on 101, quoting reference 26*45819.
